Spring Celebratory Giveaway!

March 24, 2009

First and formost Let me just say: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO NICHOLAS! My baby is 3 today!

I cannot believe how big he is. AND just TWO short years ago, I had the basic concept of Miss 'N Nick Designs. I had come up with the name and had only four invitations designed. So in March of 2007, I took my prototypes to some of the nice retail stores in my area. And you know what? They liked my work! Candy Hirte from Where's the Party in Costa Mesa was especially helpful. What a fun and successful lady! I just love her. She was one of my very first customers!

If you are in the Southern California area, you must make a visit to Where's the Party. Over the years it has grown and grown and she has one of the best collections of invitations and party supplies I have ever seen, including Miss 'N Nick of course!

Okay so on to the giveaway! Miss 'N Nick is turning TWO. My son is a whopping THREE years old today! And all of this is in conjunction with the virtual open house going on at my cooking and recipe site, Art and Aioli. This blog about art, food and the art of food just happens to have also celebrated its ONE year anniversary. So let's have some fun and some giveaways!
2 Individuals (drawn at random) will each
receive 2 boxes of the invitation of their choice*
PLUS free typesetting!

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post
stating why you prefer traditional invitations in the mail
as opposed to Evites or emails.

Leave your comment by Midnight on Monday April 13th. Then on Tuesday April 14th, we will announce the winners! The winners will be announced here as well as at the Art and Aioli Virtual Culinary Art Studio Open House on April 14th! If you would like to participate in the virtual open house please check it out as well.

Don't miss out on this great opportunity! Leave a comment today.
Here's to spring and many many celebrations!

*NOTE: The Cupcake invitations are NOT available for this offer. As one of our most popular designs, we are back ordered on this piece for about a month and I do not want to offer something that will not be available right away. Also note that if you need more than 2 boxes (20 invitations), the two winners will also have the option of purchasing more of the invitations or matching note cards at a 10% discount in conjunction with this giveaway extravaganza. Don't forget to check us out on Facebook! Become a fan today!

Printed invitations, to me, make wonderful keepsakes. I'm an Internet girl all the way, but when it comes to commemorating special events I send something in the mail.

Truth be told, I love being invited to a party in any format. However, receiving an invitation in the mail immediately sets the tone for something extra "special." It's thick, luscious paper in my hands that serve as a reminder to buy a present, line up a babysitter or to show my husband the exciting plans we have (or I have!). A beautiful invitation always makes me feel loved and makes me very excited to attend the event to which my presence has been requested.

Love your art, Nicole!

Kathy- Trust me. I use the internet quite a bit myself. But there is just something fun about getting the invitations in the mail. Thank you for entering the contest.

Amy- You are a doll. Thank you. And I agree, being invited is the main thing. Thank you for entering my contest!

There is nothing like getting a nice note in the mail! I save paper, recycle and do my best for the environment but old fashion communication of feelings is number one! it has a "slow pace" something we are loosing in so many aspencts of everyday life. a note in the mail mean "I took some time to think about you, even if life runs in the fast lane"!!
